Download the app and sign up
Movana is free on iPhone and Android. Sign up with the email you actually check — that’s how we confirm you at the door, and how we reach you about pickup next May. Grab it before you get to Burger U; campus Wi-Fi during move-in week is not your friend.
Enter your move-out details
Start a new inventory. The app asks for your move-out details before it opens the camera — fill in these two fields exactly:
Both fields have to be filled in for your scan to count at the door.
Scan your room — at least 4 photos
Walk your camera around the room and let the app catalog what you brought. Take a minimum of four shots so nothing gets missed:
The students we stored for this summer taught us this one: four angles is the point where we actually understand your room — what you’ve got, what it’ll take to move it, how we can help. Fewer than that and we’re guessing. Four and we can give you a real answer.
Request your estimate
Once your scan is done, tap Request Estimate and send it to this address so the team knows it’s for the Burger U event:
